Bio

A medical doctor by training, Faheem has extensive experience in public health policy and sustainable healthcare investing. Over the past decade, he has co-founded venture-backed bio/healthtech start-ups and social enterprises in the UK and Bangladesh. He successfully sourced, selected and supported impact investment deals and products across various asset classes and markets at Bridges Fund (~$1bn AUM), Generation IM (~$20bn AUM) and UBS (~$3tn AUM). Faheem is an investment advisor to global family offices, governments and multilateral institutions in the digital health, medical device and healthcare services sectors. He has close to 100 first-author academic articles and presentations in high-impact publications including The Lancet and Forbes, and international conferences such as the World Health Assembly and World Economic Forum. Graduating as student-president of Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School, Faheem concurrently earned his Medical Degree from King’s College London and Masters in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. He completed his Masters in Business Administration from London Business School and Columbia with scholarship. An avid reader and sportsman, Faheem’s interests range from dendrology and philosophy to kick-boxing and mountaineering.
